“Worst Ad I’ve Ever Seen”: WA Police Ridiculed For Cringeworthy Anti-graffiti Video
Remember the Department of Finance’s horrid ad way back in February that was hailed as the worst one of 2017? Well, it now has a worthy contender for the title, thanks to the WA Police Force.
A video made by WA Police as part of its ‘Goodbye Graffiti’ campaign which went live last week on its Facebook page has drawn widespread ridicule for its disgustingly awkward nature and atrocious acting, leaving viewers dumbfounded and in stitches.
The video shows a young couple walking along the inner-city streets of Perth, before they settle on a bench for a coffee and a chat, where the male boasts about getting a reward for reporting on a group of hooligans who he witnessed tagging a bus top with spray cans.

The video has so far garnered more than 100,000 views on Facebook, along with a barrage of criticism, with users describing it “cringeworthy”, “tacky” and “the worst ad I’ve ever seen”.
However, it gets better.
The video is actually part of a series shared on Facebook by WA Police, who seem to be pretty chuffed by all the attention.
“There’s been a lot of talk about our ‘Goodbye Graffiti’ videos in recent days… and that’s great!” WA Police wrote in a post yesterday on Facebook.
“Here’s the final episode in the series, with a reminder that (unlike these videos) graffiti vandalism is a crime that can be a gateway to further offending tag and you will be caught.”
