WordStorm Now Representing Top Blokes Foundation

WordStorm PR it proud to be representing the Top Blokes Foundation and its founder, Melissa Abu-Gazaleh who has just been named as the 2016 NSW Young Australian of the Year for her commitment to youth work.

At the age of 19 Melissa Abu-Gazaleh felt a strong need to do something to address the disproportionate number of young men suffering from mental illness and involved in violent crimes and other anti-social behaviour. She established the Top Blokes Foundation to help empower males aged 14-24 and reduce the risk-taking behaviours common to this demographic.

Some 10 years into its operation, Top Blokes CEO Melissa helps thousands of young men each year through mentoring programs and she oversees a team of 14 people passionate about youth mentoring.

WordStorm PR’s managing director, Monica Rosenfeld is excited to be representing such a passionate advocate for youth.

“We are honoured to be working with Melissa and Top Blokes as they work so hard to help improve the lives of boys and their social welfare, in turn having a greater effect improving society as a whole. Melissa is so dedicated to helping others, we’re so pleased to see her recognised by winning the 2016 NSW Young Australian of the Year award.”
