Woman Plummets From Trapeze As America’s Got Talent Act Goes Badly Awry

Viewers of America’s Got Talent got slightly less talent than they may have bargained for after a trapeze act went wrong, sending one performer plummeting six metres to the ground.

Husband and wife act, Mary and Tyce, who call themselves Duo Transcend, were performing their death defying stunts to judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and guest Ken Jeong.

Unfortunately, at the pivotal moment, Mary slipped from Tyce’s grip and was fast in free-fall and in to concussion and serious spinal injury territory.

Adding to the drama, the duo’s two-year-old son, Jaxx, was watching on in the audience and had to have his eye’s covered by his worried grandmother.

But fear not! A well positioned safety mat saved the day and Mary was spared any serious injury save for a dent to the ego and a serious chat to her husband in the car on the way home. Check out the calamity below:
