“The level of talent that is unearthed over the course of our Cannes Young Lions competition continues to impress us,” Fiorella Di Santo, News Corp Australia group director of sales, said.
“The sheer determination, immense creativity and inspired innovation demonstrated by our finalists this year was remarkable. Congratulations to all the winners, but also to everyone who entered the competition – it was a very tough pool.
“The competition was exceptionally close, which is why I’m also delighted that through our expanded program, we are able to continue to foster young creative talent by giving two teams the opportunity to represent Australia at the Spikes Asia Festival.”
News Corp once again partnered with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI).
The finalists were announced earlier in May where the teams had to response to a 24 hour brief (48 hours for film).
The brief aimed to support MCRI’s campaign encouraging people to take a break from social media for 48 hours and instead refocus on things that are more important
