Who doesn’t love a reunion? Well, except for high school reunions, maybe. Reality tv show reunions, though? Fabulous.
At least, they are according to viewers of Farmer Wants A Wife. Seven’s reunion special scored 828,000 viewers, making it the highest watched entertainment show, and continuing Seven’s nightly winning streak from the Olympics.
With no reality reunions or The Voice for Friday, though, eyes will be peeled on whether they can sustain momentum.
Seven News was top of the ratings overall with 1,178,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,081,00 as per OzTAM’s metro data.
A Current Affair had 779,000 viewers while ABC News had 713,000.
Also in entertainment was Home and Away with 724,000, while The Chase had 622,000 and Hot Seat had 508,000.
On at primetime was The Block with 633,000, while The Bachelor failed to break 500,000, coming in at 414,000 overall.
The rest of Seven’s night saw RFDS score 604,000 viewers while for Nine Paramedics had 421,000.
Over on 10, The Project had 530,000 viewers and 10 News First had 431,000.
Finally, the ABC had 7.30 at 606,000 viewers, Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell with 532,000 and Rosehaven with 391,00.
The Seven Network won the night with 31.4 per cent of the daily share, tailed by the Nine Network at 28.2 per cent. In third was Network 10 with 17 per cent, while the ABC TV Network had 15.9 per cent and the SBS Network had 7.5 per cent.
