Seven’s Martin Clunes: Islands In The Pacific failed to muster too much interest last night, as, boringly as it is to report, The Block again handed Nine a Wednesday win.

Clunes could only muster 260,000 metro viewers according to OzTAM numbers, although The Block slipped a bit to 757,000, however, it was still the most watched entertainment show of the evening.

Seven’s MKR still can’t find its rhythm posting just 470,000. That said, even Seven’s The Chase did more with 493,000. While the ABC’s Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell had 508,000.

Nine won the night with 30.6 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Seven had 27.2 per cent, the ABC was third with 18.7 per cent, 10 had 14.5 per cent and SBS was oh-so-close to double digits with 9.1 per cent.

Seven’s news topped the time sheets with 878,000, Nine’s 6pm bulletin had 826,000 and ACA did 672,000.

Other standouts for Nine were Hot Seat (397,000), The Verdict (367,000) and Tipping Point (260,000).

Seven’s Home And Away had 448,000.

For 10, its two shows in last night’s top 20 were The Project (342,000) and 10 News First (286,000).

The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (623,000), 7.30 (536,000), Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (508,000) and a repeat of Hard Quiz (4463,000).
