Wednesday TV Wrap: Motorbike Cops Proves Arresting For Seven, Love Island Tanks

To coincide with Seven’s upfronts last night, the network also took home a Wednesday night win while not doing too much at all.

Arguably it was Seven’s Motorbike Cops (521,000) that stole the network the win.

As expected, The Block was again the most watched show of the night, pulling a neat 800,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.

10’s The Bachelorette had an okayish 628,000. While the ABC’s Gruen was Aunty’s most watched show and 645,000.

Nine’s Love Island continues to prove a dud, it could barely muster 300,000 last night (main channel).

Seven snared a neat 28 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Nine did a neat 27 per cent, 10 had 19.1 per cent, the ABC did 17.2 and SBS did 8.3 per cent thanks to Struggle Street (253,000).

Seven’s win appears to have come from multiple shows rather than one big sugar hit. It’s 6pm news posted (916,000), Home And Away had 582,000 and The Chase had a neat half-a-million and The Good Doctor did 495,000.

Other highlights for 10 included The Project (473,000) and 10 News First (330,000).

Nine’s standouts were its 6pm news (770,000), ACA (697,000) and Hot Seat (411,000).

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (293,000) lapped Today (197,000).

The ABC’s night went this way: Gruen (645,000), 7pm news (620,000), 7.30 (517,000), Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery (394,000) and Frayed (374,000).
