It appears viewers aren’t tiring of Russel, Todd, Wil and co on Gruen after the adland love-in pulled 680,000 and handed the ABC third spot on last night’s audience numbers.

Seven won Wednesday night with 27.4 per cent, Nine was second with 27 per cent and the ABC boasted 19.5 per cent.

Sadly for Ten, even MasterChef’s 813,000 couldn’t save it from fourth and an 18.7 per cent share, while SBS had 6.5 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night with 1.07 million. While House Rules (682,000) and The Chase (650,000) were the network’s other notable standouts.

For Nine, its best was its 6pm news with 956,000. A Current Affair managed 788,000, Young Sheldon had 715,000, while Britain’s Got Talent isn’t resonating with Australian talent fans, managing only 522,000.

MasterChef aside, Ten’s The Project was its only show of note, pulling 570,000.

The ABC’s night went thus: Gruen (680,000), ABC News (507,000), Stargazing Live (497,000),  7:30 (492,000), The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (434,000), Corey White’s Roadmap to Paradise (221,000) and Think Tank (216,000). SBS’ best was Michael Mosley: Secrets Of Your Food that could only muster an unappetising 208,000.
