Wednesday TV Wrap: Farmer Wants A Wife Snares The Entertainment Win

Wednesday night saw Farmer Wants a Wife gain a lead in entertainment with 685,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

There was a special ep of Australian Ninja Warriors called Record Breakers – which, predictably, looked at some of the record breaking moments of the series. It scored 659,000 viewers.

MasterChef, nearing the end of Finals Week, had 603,000 viewers. The ep saw the winner of the challenge secure their spot in the Grand Final which confusingly, doesn’t take place in Finals Week! Ah, the baffling semantics of TV.

On top overall was Seven News with 1,141,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,096,000. In third was A Current Affair with 752,000 viewers while ABC News had 700,000.

Home and Away scored a solid 657,000 viewers while The Chase had 637,000.

For the ABC, 7.30 scored 552,000 viewers while Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell had a round 500,000 and Win The Week had 345,000.

Nine’s Hot Seat had 547,0000 viewers and the Wallabies vs France rugby game netted 232,000.

On 10, The Project had 465,000 viewers while 10 News First had 407,000.

Finally for Seven, The Front Bar also made it onto the top twenty most-watched programs with 330,000 viewers.

The Nine Network won the night overall with 31.2 per cent of the daily share, while the Seven Network had 27.3 per cent. In third was Network 10 with 18.1 per cent, while the ABC Network had 13.8 per cent and the SBS Network had 9.6 per cent.
