Wednesday TV Wrap: ABC’s Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery Debuts To Over Half A Million

Series 8 of ABC’s Julie Zemiro’s Home Delivery has debuted to 623,000 viewers, according to OzTAM metro numbers.

The premiere episode featured Australia’s favourite boffin Dr Karl, taking Julia on a personal tour of Wollongong.

Over at Seven, Nine and 10, its best entertainment shows for the night were The Chase (664,000), Hot Seat (597,000) and, MasterChef (1.01m) respectively.

Seven took the crown across all channels with 26.6 per cent, Nine did 24.1 per cent, 10 did 23.3 per cent, ABC did 17.6 per cent and SBS did 8.5 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Nine

News did 1.08m, ACA did 721,000, Paramedics did 490,000 and Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo did 419,000.

The Project did 658,000 and The Secrets She Keeps did 514,000.

Seven

News did 1.17m, Home & Away did 645,000, and Britain’s Got Talent did 570,000.

ABC

News did 856,000, 7.30 did 682,000 and The Weekly With Charlie Pickering did 548,000.

Primary channel share

Seven won the night with 19.1 per cent, Nine did 16.8 per cent, 10 did 16.4 per cent while ABC did 13.1 per cent and SBS did 4.6 per cent.

Demographic breakdown (all channels) 

People 25-54

  1. 10 – 30.6 per cent
  2. Nine – 24.3 per cent
  3. Seven – 24.1 per cent

People 16-39

  1. 10 –  34.2 per cent
  2. Seven –  24.2 per cent
  3. Nine – 22.9 per cent
