MAFS once again gave Nine a comfortable win last night after the perennial traffic driver was the only show to go over the million-mark last night.
According to OzTAM metro numbers, MAFS pulled 1.015 million viewers and almost doubled the next nearest in the entertainment category, ABC’s Hard Quiz, that did 571,000.
Nine comfortably won the night with 35.5 per cent of the evening’s eyeballs. Seven was a distant second with 23.7 per cent, the ABC did 17. 1 per cent, 10 had 15.6 per cent and SBS a neat eight.
In the battle of the news programs, Seven took bragging rights with 939,000. Nine’s bulletin did 850,000, the ABC at 7pm had 604,00 and 10 News First had 315,000.
ACA did 698,000 and 7.30 did 528,000.
Over at the ABC, its Wednesday play for laughs included Hard Quiz (571,000) and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (441,000).
Nine also did well with Hot Seat (359,000), Under Investigation (356,000) and Tipping Point (301,000).
For Seven, The Chase did 516,000, Home And Away pulled 487,000 and the returning Front Bar posted an impressive 358,000.
10 only had two programs in Wednesday’s top 20, 10 News First and The Project with 315,000.
