It was a return to a rather predictable evening of telly numbers last night, as once again MAFS did the business and everyone else played catch-up.

MAFS pulled 1.27 million, leaving MKR – whose numbers appear to be oscillating wildly – with 740,000. 10’s best was The Project with 383,000.

In the battle of the cereal munchers, Sunrise (265,000) toasted Today (192,000).

Once again, MAFS handed Nine the evening’s win with 33.5 per cent audience share. Seven took home 29.1 per cent, the ABC had 16.8 per cent, 10 had to endure 13.9 per cent and SBS 6.7 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news (963,000) claimed bragging rights over Nine’s (901,000), while ACA pulled 765,000.

Home And Away (698,000) is off to a sluggish start for 2019, equally Nine’s New Amsterdam (436,000).

Over at 10, viewers appear a little bored by Bondi Rescue (312,000), although MAFS and MKR can’t be helping the men in Speedos’ cause.

For the ABC, its highlights include: 7pm news (698,000), Hard Quiz (662,000) and Rosehaven (482,000).

While for SBS, Secrets Of The Toy Shop: Inside Hamleys, pulled 212,000.
