Full-service digital agency Webling has announced it has been appointed by Australian brand Entertainment Publishing to transform the digital future of its iconic product, the Entertainment Book.

Over 50 years old and with a loyal member base, the Entertainment Book is a fundraising product delivers members access to exclusive offers across dining, retail and travel.

Webling has been tasked with creating a next-generation digital experience using personalisation and artificial intelligence concepts, as Entertainment looks for opportunities to revolutionise the way Australians discover new experiences and offers.

Aimed at driving deeper engagement with Entertainment’s digital presence and business, Webling’s remit incorporates the full range of its service offering, from strategy, research and CX/UX design through to Sitecore platform development and ongoing support.

Webling was appointed following a competitive pitch, with work set to begin immediately.

Deniz Nalbantoglu, managing director of Webling, said the future of Entertainment is very exciting.

“As a forward-thinking company, it is digitally transforming its business to bring even greater value to its customers,” he said.

“We are proud to work with such an Australian icon and honoured that Entertainment has selected Webling as its preferred agency for this milestone project.”

Entertainment’s group chief technology officer, Andrew McIntyre, said: “We’re going through an exciting period of transformation as we deliver new digital experiences to our customers, merchants and fundraising organisations.

“Webling put forward some very innovative ideas to take the brand forward and maintain relevance in an ever-changing marketplace. We’re excited to see this work come to life this year.”
