Val Morgan Partners With Mov’in Boat & The Star Sydney

n a never before seen event in Australia, Val Morgan are proud to be partnering with the team behind the outdoor movie experiences Mov’in Bed and Mov’in Car to bring Sydney-siders a spectacular floating cinema event all summer long.

Hosted in Darling Harbour, Mov’in Boat will run throughout the peak summer months of December to March with a fifteen metre, full 4K screen and thirty surround speakers set amongst a 1000 sqm floating platform of row boats, summer lounge beds and two floating bar experiences. There will be four different ways to experience Australia’s new summer sensation, including on your own boat.

Dates, mates and families of up to four can hire row boats to watch all-time favourite movies in one of the most unique ways possible. If land is the preference, guests can sit back and relax on one of 75 summer lounge beds. The movie experience will be completed with delicious snacks and drinks, delivered straight to beds or boats by jet ski.

From pizzas cooked on the spot to fresh seafood and desserts like Nutella Belgian Waffles, there will be something for everyone to indulge in. Mov’in Boat will be the ultimate cool down destination after a hot summer’s day with a tailored selection of Australia’s favourite Sparkling and Premium wines, hand selected to match the event menu.

For a taste of the good life, The Star Sydney are on board offering the best viewing spot, complimentary soft drinks, popcorn, and access to The Star’s VIP Bar which will include cocktails from their Signature Dining Restaurants. Guests will also be able to experience fine dining whilst watching a movie by pre-ordering their favourite meals from Flying Fish, BLACK Bar and Grill, Sokyo and Fat Noodle.
