UnLtd Announces Melbourne Board With Wade James As Chair

UnLtd has launched a Melbourne Board to drive social impact in Victoria.

The Melbourne Board is tasked with galvanising the media, marketing and creative industry in Victoria to help UnLtd achieve its goal of generating $100m in social impact by 2021 to help young people at risk.

Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd commented: “I’m so excited about growing UnLtd’s impact across Victoria.”

“We work with some amazing charities based in Victoria and by having a physical presence on the ground we will be able to make a bigger difference to young Australians at risk.”

“The Board represents a cross-section of amazing individuals who have the passion, influence and drive to lead this change, and power the Melbourne media and advertising industry into driving a huge social impact.”

The Board members include: Jye Hainsworth, senior industry manager, financial services, Google; Juliette Stead, vice president APAC, Telaria; Luke Burr, key client partner, Yahoo7; Rachel Page, Victorian sales director, Yahoo!7; Sally Phelps, head of digital, Starcom Melbourne; Shaun Warry, partner & general manager, Taska Media; Simon Lawson, general manager, PHD Media Melbourne and Wade James, group product director, oOh! Media.

The Board has appointed Wade James from oOh! Media as the chair.

Wade commented, “I’m thrilled to be leading the Melbourne Board of UnLtd and look forward to working with the team to drive positive change and awareness around young people at risk.”

“Having been involved with UnLtd for a couple of years, I’ve seen first-hand the amazing programs and the impact they have had. I’m excited by the opportunity of making a difference.”
