United Yeah Nabs Flagship Campaign For Liquor & Gaming NSW

New agency on the block, United Yeah, has been awarded the creative, digital and campaign activation duties for the Liquor & Gaming NSW’s flagship event Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 2016.

United Yeah was added to the line-up after the agency worked with Liquor & Gaming NSW on a previous project, nabbing successful results from the collaboration.

Responsible Gambling Awareness Week is an annual event running from May 23-29, which targets the friends and family of problem gamblers. The campaign will be spread across cinema, print, social media and mobile, with a merchandise component as well.

Jenny Crocker, senior communications officer, Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing NSW said, “Raising the issue of a person’s gambling problem can be very difficult and embarrassing, but a conversation is the first step to recovery.

“United Yeah broke through those barriers with concepts that were funny and yet profound. It is also an exciting move into using new platforms to connect with our audience. We can’t wait to get this campaign into market as we know it will make an enormous difference to many who are dealing with the terrible outcomes of a gambling addiction.”

United Yeah co-founder James Anderson added, “The issues around problem gambling are more relevant today than ever.

“We’re excited to be working with Liquor & Gaming NSW as they have a real appetite for finding innovative ways to communicate their message. We’re proud to be partnering with them on this great initiative.”
