Twitter Founder “Sorry” For Role In Trump Election, As President Immortalised In Baloney Cover

One of Twitter’s co-founders has apologised for the tech company’s perceived role in the election of Donald Trump.

Evan Williams has said sorry after the President bragged that “I think that maybe I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Twitter” after his surprise election victory.

“It’s a very bad thing, Twitter’s role in that,” Williams said in an interview with the New York Times. “If it’s true that he wouldn’t be president if it weren’t for Twitter, then yeah, I’m sorry.”

Meanwhile, Spanish foodie magazine Tapas has immortalised the President in one of the best cover spoofs since his election.

Trump is featured as a lump of baloney (get the irony?) and his famed hair is a banana. And fans of the magazine have taken to Twitter (ironically) to laud the carefully crafted cold meat homage.
