Twitch is continuing to build its ANZ presence, with the platform making two more local hires.
Batoul Peters joins as an Account Director, responsible for growing clientele in New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia. She brings a wealth of experience spanning a 15-year career in media working in commercial roles for the likes of Seven West Media, Mamamia, Global Traffic Network and Commercial Radio Australia.
On the marketing front, Kiwi-born Amy Potter has joined as a Marketing Specialist ANZ following over two years at esports media company LetsPlay.Live.
In response to the new hires, Ricky Chanana, Head of Sales ANZ, said: “We are so excited to have Batoul and Amy join the team. Batoul’s omni-channel experience makes her perfect for crafting meaningful partnerships with Australian brands, and Amy will help to engage with our burgeoning Twitch community across ANZ.
They are the latest in a string of recent appointments, which has seen our ANZ operations grow exponentially.
Twitch is currently positioning itself as a ‘must-have’ channel for brands, advertisers and media alike.
The new ANZ hires follow the recent announcement of Sandeep Suvarna as Head of Marketing in APAC, who will oversee, build and implement marketing campaigns in Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region.
