Nine’s State Of Origin killed it and pulled in 1,797,000 viewers – The Bulldog’s Matt Burton made his origin debut. In the theatre, we’d call the game his opening night.

Interestingly the game was slightly down from last year. When the game two pulled in 1.8 million. But I doubt 1.7 million is keeping Nine executives up at night.
