TV News Network Calls In The Police After Mistakenly Playing Porn Instead Of The Weather Report

A news channel in Washington State has been forced to apologise and call in the police after viewers were subjected to 13-seconds of pornography instead of the evening weather report.

Local station KREM accidentally broadcast the explicit clip during its evening 6.30pm bulletin last Sunday.

News co-anchor Cody Proctor was discussing the day’s weather with meteorologist Michelle Boss when the raunchy video started playing on a monitor behind Boss. Check out the steamy (albeit heavily pixilated ) scene below.

KREM bosses are none the wiser to how the video aired and immediately issued an apology to viewers during a bulletin later that evening.

“An inappropriate video aired in the first part of the show. We are diligently working to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again,” said the anchor who delivered the news.

The incident has now been handed over to the local Spokane City Police Department (SPD) who are yet to track down the culprit.

“The station’s personnel are cooperating fully with SPD in the attempt to determine what happened,” a police spokesperson said, adding that the “disturbing image…generated numerous calls from concerned citizens in the city and county”.

And it’s not the first time the station has been hit with a fleshy interloper.

Back in 2016, viewers who had tuned in to watch Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown were instead greeted to half-an-hour of hardcore pornography featuring adult star Riley Quinn. Quinn later tweeted about the incident, thanking the network for the “free air-time”.
