Tuesday TV Wrap: The Voice Continues To Struggle On Its Return

Nine’s The Voice has continued to struggle following its return with last night’s episode pulling 822,000 viewers, the lowest ratings ever for an episode.

Nine’s woes were music to Seven’s ears with MKR (1.32 million) having its best night of the year.

Seven won the night with 32.4 per cent audience share. Nine was second with 26.9 per cent, Ten mustered 18 per cent, the ABC had 14.9 per cent and SBS pulled 7.8 per cent.

The return of Andrew Denton to Seven probably didn’t do as well as expected, with his new Interview pulling 578,000.

Over at Ten, Bachelor In Paradise pulled 660,000 and The Project had 560,000.

The ABC’s night went thus: On ABC it was ABC News (725,000), 7.30 (492,000), Employable Me (434,000), The Checkout (387,000), Louis Theroux: Drinking to Oblivion (255,000) and Think Tank (208,000).

The returning Who Do You Think You Are? did well for SBS, pulling in 430,000.
