Tuesday TV Wrap: Nine’s Travel Guides Flies To Strong Debut, MKR Left A Little Underdone

Last night saw the networks debut some new shows, with Nine’s Tavel Guides showing a strong start, pulling 752,000 according to overnight OzTam metro numbers.

Over at 10, it kicked-off the 2019 version of Hughesy, We Have A Problem, which had a disappointing 408,000 for the network.

None of this proved a problem for the all-conquering MAFS, which again topped the million-mark and was the most watched show of the night.

MAFS pulled 1.167 million viewers, leaving arch-rival MKR looking a bit undercooked. It managed its worst numbers ever in its decade-long history, pulling 799,000.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here also got caught up in the crossfire, it fell to 550,000 last night.

Nine won Tuesday with 31.8 per cent audience share. Seven wasn’t far behind, posting 29.4 per cent. 10 claimed third spot with 17.4 per cent, the ABC had 15.4 per cent and SBS had a neat six.

Other standouts for Nine included its 6pm news bulletin (883,000), ACA (715,000) and Hot Seat (398,000).

For Seven, its 6pm news pulled 965,000, followed by Today Tonight (932,000), The Good Doctor (577,000) and The Chase (530,000).

10’s doers were The Project (414,000) and 10 News First (379,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (719,000), 7.30 (542,000) and Foreign Correspondent (368,000).
