Channel Nine was again the victor on a quietish night of TV last night with many programs noticeable for their lack of an audience.
Seven’s dating show Take Me Out has struggled since launch and had its lowest audience ever last night, managing 503,000 and down 17 per cent since its debut.
Another problem for Seven is 800 Words, managing just 459,000 last night and it’s down 27 per cent on last year’s average.
While another interesting stat from yesterday’s numbers was Nine’s Today show falling under the 200,000-mark. Today pulled 199,000, while arch-rival Sunrise boasted 268,000.
The Block had 983,00 viewers last night and handed Nine a Tuesday night win with 31per cent of the audience share. Seven took second and 26.3 per cent of the eyeballs. Ten hung on for third and 18.8 per cent. The ABC had per 16.4 cent and SBS had to settle for 7.4 per cent.
In better news for Seven, its 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night, pulling 993,000. Nine’s news managed 888,000, while ACA had 818,000.
Over at Ten, its best was Survivor with 654,000, The Project with 514,000 and its 5pm news with 370,000.
The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (735,000), 7.30 (591,000), Foreign Correspondent (502,000) and Catalyst (409,000).
