Tuesday TV Wrap: Nine News Shakes Seven Out Of The Top Spot

In perhaps the most thrilling spill since the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election, Nine News has taken out Seven News for top spot in the TV ratings, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Nine News scored 1, 079,000 viewers while Seven News had 1,042,000.

Next was A Current Affair with 740,000 viewers and ABC News with 717,000 viewers.

Celebrity Apprentice peaked highest of the entertainment shows with a high of 644,000 viewers for the boardroom. The rest of the episode peaked at 575,000 viewers.

In more entertainment news, Big Brother‘s Hell Week banished MasterChef to the frying pan. In other words, Big Brother beat MasterChef with 583,000 viewers to 557,000 viewers.

For the ABC, 7.30 had 599,000 viewers while Anh’s Brush With Fame had 542,000 viewers and Love On The Spectrum had 403,000.

On Seven, Home and Away had 584,000 viewers, The Chase had 568,000 and The Good Doctor had 343,000.

Nine’s Hot Seat had 541,000 viewers while for 10, The Project had 519,000 and 10 News First had 395,000.

Nine (all channels) beat Seven (all channels) to win the night with 28.4 per cent of the daily share as compared to 28.1 per cent. Next was Network 10 with 18.5 per cent, followed by the ABC TV Network with 16.7 per cent and the SBS Network with eight point two per cent.
