Tuesday TV Wrap: Denton’s Interview On The Rise

Andrew Denton’s Interview enjoyed some of its best numbers ever last night, pulling 520,000 according to the OzTAM metro numbers.

Nine’s The Voice won bragging rights for the evening’s top entertainment show, pulling 977,000. MasterChef posted 635,000 and House Rules had 611,000.

Nine squeaked home for a Tuesday night win with 29.7 per cent (all channels). Seven was close behind with 28.9 per cent, 10 did 17.9 per cent, the ABC had 14.8 per cent and SBS pulled 8.7 per cent on the back of Who Do You Think You Are? (307,000).

In the battle of the 6pm news, Seven had 1,180 million and Nine pulled 985,000. ACA posted 847,000.

While the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (292,000) toasted Today (202,000).

MasterChef aside, 10’s other standouts were The Project (487,000), 10 News First (458,000) and Mr Black (309,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (722,000), 7.30 (502,000), The Recording Studio (257,000) and a repeat of David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef (222,000).
