10’s ambo documentary Ambulance Australia continues to be one of the surprise hits of 2018, once again Tuesday night’s most watched entertainment show.
It took home 649,000 viewers last night – its best episode of the season – and gave its rivals a bit of a TV touch-up. Nine’s Family Food Fight could only manage 405,000, while Seven’s Take Me Out finale tanked, managing a very disappointing 394,000.
Seven won the night by the slimmest of margins beating Nine by 27.5 per cent to 27.1 per cent, respectively. 10 hung on for third and 18.9 per cent, the ABC had 17.3 per cent and SBS almost got to double figures – 9.3 per cent – on the back of Great American Railroad Journeys (302,000) and Body Clock (214,000).
Other standouts for Seven were its 6pm news (914,000), Today Tonight (892,000), Home And Away (626,000), The Good Doctor (586,000) and The Chase (502,000).
Nine’s best was its 6pm news (906,000) followed by ACA (721,000), Hot Seat (429,000) and The Big Bang Theory (429,000).
Ambulance Australia aside, 10’s other doers were The Project (423,000), 10 News First (366,000), FBI (313,000) and Pointless (225,000).
