The Radio Sales Network (TRSN) has announced the promotion of Dee McTaggart to the role of general manager in Sydney.

McTaggart was previously senior account manager at TRSN and has been with the company for 11 years.

Her appointment comes after TRSN’s current Sydney general manager, Leanne Wotherspoon, announced her intention to leave the company to pursue interior design.

Grant Broadcasters’ incoming CEO, Alison Cameron, said: “Leanne has done an incredible job for TRSN in Sydney over the past six years, not only delivering strong revenue growth, but she has brought together a really strong and talented national sales team.”

Speaking on her appointment, McTaggart said: “I’m really excited about taking on the challenge of running the Sydney team and continuing on the good results that we have achieved over the last couple of years.”

McTaggart’s appointment is effective immediately; however, Wotherspoon will work alongside her until the end of August.
