Revealed: Australia’s Top Podcasts For June

Triton Digital’s Australia Podcast Ranker has revealed the Top 100 Podcasts for June, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

The podcasts were measured from 1 June to 30 June.

Unsurprisingly, Casefile True Crime (Audioboom) remained in the number one spot as the most downloaded podcast in the country in June.

Hamish & Andy (SCA – LiSTNR) came in second. and Stuff You Should Know (ARN/iHeartPodcast Network Australia) came in third place.

However, a number of new entries appeared on the Top 100 Podcast list, including, 99% Invisible (Stitcher Media), Breakfast with Vossy (Sports Entertainment Network (SEN)), and The New South Wales Briefing as well as Roo and Ditts for Breakfast (SCA).

The total downloads of all shows by all participating publishers in the month of June reached 50 million.

Triton Digital’s Podcast Metrics measurement service is certified by the IAB Tech Lab as complying with the latest version of the IAB Podcast Measurement Technical Guidelines.  The service has the ability to view metrics by date range, location, device, podcast name, episode, title, and more.

Participating publishers in the Australian Ranker include ARN/iHeartMedia, Audioboom, Babyology, Equity Mates, Kinderling Kids Radio, News Corp Australia, Nine, Nova, Podshape, Schwartz Media, Southern Cross Austereo, Sports Entertainment Network, Stitcher Media, TOFOP Productions, Wavelength Creative, West Australian Newspapers, and Wondery
