Triple M Backflips On Decision To Axe Dead Set Legends

Triple M Sydney has today confirmed that Dead Set Legends (DSL) will remain as part of its programming schedule despite announcing on the show’s Twitter page just days ago that it would be scrapped.

Here’s what DSL posted on its Twitter page on Saturday:

However, Triple M issued a statement today which said DSL will become a daily show from Monday to Friday between 6pm and 7pm, while Dan Ginnane will continue as host.

“The Dead Set Legends brand has become an institution over the last 19 years and we won’t be letting it go,” Triple M’s Sydney content director, Jamie Angel, said.

“Now regular listeners will get even more of the show they love in an easier to use timeslot.”

The statement also said there will be a revolving cast of regular legends and mates of Triple M offering up their opinions throughout the week on DSL.
