Triple J Breakfast presenters Ben & Liam used lookalikes to attend last night’s ARIA Awards so they wouldn’t have to, and it worked.

The Breakfast hosts had listeners Callum and Luke to dress the part, with Callum donning Ben’s signature hat and glasses while Luke shaved his moustache to replicate Liam’s.

For all intents and purposes, the plan went off without a hitch, with the lookalikes even fooling Ben & Liam’s colleagues, Triple J presents Zan Rowe and Gemma Pike.

All the while, Ben & Liam were watching the ARIAs from the couch, eating pizza and live streaming Callum and Luke’s night out.

Last year, Ben & Liam snuck in three artist lookalikes as part of their entourage.

The presenters found lookalikes of Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Peking Duck’s Adam and singer Meg Mac, and brought them as guests to the big night.
