Content Marketing Agency, Written & Recorded has partnered with global education institution Torrens University Australia to launch a new podcast series, Research that Matters – a podcast about the power of research.
Featuring outcome-focused researchers, this series cements the idea that nothing has shaped modern life more than research. In an era of COVID-19 – the great disruption – the podcast reminds us why research matters for gaining new knowledge.
Across nine episodes, the series introduces diverse voices who are working towards solving complex global problems and propelling innovation. From health solutions to workplace culture to virtual reality and artificial intelligence – these researchers are committed to connecting the world for good.
Among the researchers is Professor Seyedali Mirjalili. In 2021, The Australian newspaper named him as the top researcher in Australia in three fields of Artificial Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, and Fuzzy Systems.
Episode one kicks off with how skilled migrants shape Australia, that capturing data on a range of social indicators influences policies and strategic planning, and what sort of an education system a multicultural country like Australia needs.
This series takes you behind the curtain to hear what drives each researcher’s passion, and the impact their work has on all of us.
The series is hosted by Clement Paligaru, whose career has included over two decades at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Written & Recorded, co-Founder, Serpil Senelmis said: “A world without research is a world without change and innovation. Without it, we’d never know of medical technologies like the MRI, or that making time for play expands our mind.”
