TorchMedia Announces Three New Hires To Boost Transit Growth

TorchMedia has announced a strategic restructure to its sales team, introducing a dedicated strategy department as well as bolstering direct and boutique sales.

As strong believers in combining extraordinary talent with Torch Media’s growth mindset, this move reflects their expansive portfolio and the transit credentials they’ve achieved in recent years.

TorchMedia also wraps up 2019 on a high, with the launch of Sydney CBD and South East Light Rail advertising, in addition to their existing portfolio of broad reaching transit solutions across the Eastern Seaboard.

Focusing on acquiring talent, the sales team boost includes the recent recruitment of three new employees — Era Zancanaro as strategy director, Bryce Robson as direct and boutique sales director, and Adrian Eyre as direct and boutique account manager.

Era Zancanaro has over eight years of experience in marketing and communications, has become a specialist in OOH media planning and buying.

“Era’s background, including client side, agency and media publishing experience, means she fully understands the objectives of each stakeholder; her expertise is perfectly aligned with our business objective of maximising the effectiveness of the entire process, from media planning, through to buying and sales. We are thrilled to have her onboard,” commented Kirsty Dollisson, MD, TorchMedia.

Zancanaro’s journey with TorchMedia began in August 2019, where as strategy director she explored how the sales team can work most effectively to identify and implement new strategic opportunities.

In addition, the arrival of Bryce Robson and Adrian Eyre to the direct sales team, further illustrates the strategic focus that will continue to expand TorchMedia’s year-on-year growth and asset base.

Dollisson said: “It’s really exciting to welcome Bryce and Adrian to our growing sales team. Both have a great deal of experience in sales and Out-of-Home advertising and we’re eager for them to join us and share their knowledge and enthusiasm with the team.”

Bryce Robson, who will lead the direct sales team, has a digital and broadcast background.

His most recent role was head of Intensify at Network 10 where he led the national sales team to externally manage client relationships and introduce non-TV clients to broadcast.

Adrian Eyre also joins the TorchMedia sales team with over 10 years in the online, digital and OOH marketing industry.

Coming from APN Outdoor where he was an account manager, he brings his passion for OOH advertising and talent for developing strong client relationships, to the next level and beyond as direct and boutique account manager.
