Thursday TV Wrap: Paramedics Proves Just The Heart Starter For Nine

Nine has taken the honours in a slow Thursday night of TV, with its ambulance doco-drama Paramedics proving the evening’s most watched entertainment show of the night.

Nine enjoyed 31.7 per cent of last night’s audience eyeballs on the back of its 6pm news (834,000), Paramedics (720,000), ACA (619,000), RBT (545,000) and Chicago Med (325,000).

Seven had to settle for 28.5 per cent audience share, its best performers were: 6pm news (951,000), Today Tonight (902,000), Home And Away (571,000), The Chase (545,000) and Orange Is The New Brown (302,000) and the movie X-Men (219,000).

ABC claimed the bronze position and 17.5 per cent. Best for Aunty were its 7pm news (639,000), 7.30 (501,000), Grand Designs Australia (489,000) and a repeat of Endeavour (304,000).

10 struggled to a neat 14 per cent. The Project was its standout show with 391,000, followed by 10 News First (347,000), The Conners (283,000), How to Stay Married (264,000),  Pointless (198,000), Law & Order: SVU (178,000).

While SBS took home 8.2 per cent. Its best was Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy with 215,000.
