Seven News was on top for Thursday night with 1,132,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
As is typical for Thursdays, the top ratings were primarily for news: Nine News had 1,035,000 viewers, A Current Affair had 707,000 and ABC News had 698,000.
On top of entertainment was Seven’s Home and Away, proving once again that it’s a Thursday night favourite. It had 602,000 viewers narrowly beating The Chase with 600,000. Home and Away – Late was also up there with 522,000.
Also in entertainment were Nine’s Hot Seat with 481,000, 10’s The Bachelor with 470,000 and Seven’s footy show The Front Bar with 388,000, whle the ABC’s Sammy J nabbed 361,000.
The rest of the ABC’s night saw 7.30 score 524,000 viewers and Foreign Correspondent score 347,000.
For Nine, the arvo news had 340,000 viewers while the NRL had 330,000.
Finally, on 10, The Project had 480,000 viewers and 10 News First had 367,000.
The Seven Network came out on top overall with 33.7 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network, who had 24.8 per cent. Next in line was Network 10 with 18.4 per cent, while the ABC TV Network had 14.9 per cent and the SBS Network had 8.1 per cent.
