Just 258,000 Aussies tuned in to watch prime minister Scott Morrison’s address to the nation on ABC Thursday night, according to OzTAM metro numbers.
Just before 7pm, Morrison delivered an address to the nation on the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. You can watch his address below.
In non-coronavirus news, Seven’s Pooch Perfect continues to struggle, with just 388,000 metro viewers last night. Last week, 441,000 viewers tuned in, while on debut it did 624,000.
Meanwhile, over at 10, Gogglebox has remained strong with 611,000 viewers last night.
Without MAFS on, Nine’s best entertainment for the night was Thursday Night NRL, with 391,000 Aussies tuning in to watch the Paramatta Eels beat the Canterbury Bulldogs 8-2.

News did 909,000, Home and Away did 561,000, The Chase did 460,000 and in morning TV, Sunrise did 270,000.
Nine
News did 791,000, ACA did 525,000 and Hot Seat did 414,000.

Ambulance Australia did 480,000 The Project did 431,000 and 10 News First did 415,000.
ABC
News did 712,000 and 7.30 did 550,000.

Nine won the night with 26.7 per cent, Seven came close second with 25.5 per cent audience share, 10 did 21.7 per cent, ABC did 17.7 per cent and SBS did 8.5 per cent.

Nine won with 19.3, Seven did 16.4 per cent, 10 did 15.4 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 10.7 per cent and 4.9 per cent respectively.
