Thursday TV Wrap: A Ruff Time For Seven’s Pooch Perfect, Down 29% On Debut

It appears Seven is paws-itively struggling with its Pooch Perfect program, which while it did okayish on debut last week (624,000), has dropped 29 per cent in the ratings, according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Last night, a mere 441,000 viewers tuned in to the show that’s been rather divisive amongst Australians. Many have criticised host Rebel Wilson’s inappropriate jokes for the timeslot, while others have sung the show’s praises.

Meanwhile, over at 10, Gogglebox has remained strong with 645,000 viewers last night (only very slightly down on last week’s debut).

Here’s how the rest of the night ran.

Seven 

News did 916,000, Home and Away did 561,000, The Chase did 509,000 and in morning TV, Sunrise did 262,000.

Nine

News did 845,000, ACA did 640,000, Hot Seat did 469,000, and RBT did 374,000.

Ambulance Australia did 507,000 The Project did 393,000 and 10 News First did 368,000.

ABC

News did 687,000, 7.30 did 539,000 and Sammy J did 297,000.

All channels share

Nine won the night with 28.6 per cent, Seven came close second with 26.4 per cent audience share, 10 did 21.7per cent, ABC did 16.3 per cent and SBS did 6.9 per cent.

Primary channel share

Seven narrowly beat nine with 16.8 and 16.6 per cent respectively, 10 did 14.9 per cent, while ABC and SBS did 10.2 per cent and 2.6 per cent respectively.
