Despite going AFL-less last night, Seven still managed to win Thursday with much of thanks having to go to its AFL chat show The Front Bar that continues to do big numbers considering its Melbourne-skew.

The Front Bar pulled 427,000 last night according to OzTAM metro numbers and even came close to pipping 10’s Bachelor in Paradise finale that could only muster 454,000.

Seven took home 31.2 per cent of last night’s eyeballs. Nine had to settle for 24.5 per cent, 10 had 21.3 per cent, the ABC had 15.6 per cent and SBS did 7.4 per cent.

MasterChef could only muster 680,000, but it was the most-watched entertainment show of the evening. 10’s other standouts were The Project (443,000), Bachelor in Paradise – Tell All (417,000) and 10 News First (405,000).

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 988,000. Other highlights for Seven included Home And Away (610,000), The Chase (549,000) and Britain’s Got Talent (373,000).

Nine’s best was its 6pm news with 874,000. ACA had 664,000, Hot Seat did 468,000 and the NRL game between Souths and the Broncos pulled 417,000.

The ABC’s standouts were its 7pm news (682,000), 7.30 (546,000) and Escape From The City (423,000).
