Three Eardrum Campaigns Shortlisted In 41st AWARD Awards

The finalists have been announced for the 41st AWARD Awards and Eardrum (makers of the B&T podcast) is the only Australian agency to have three separate campaigns recognised in the Radio & Audio category.

The three finalists are;

Radio Alive – Tactical Radio, for Commercial Radio Australia (Innovative Use of Radio & Audio)

Other Side of the Tracks – Yungblud, for Universal Music Australia (Branded Audio and Podcasts)

Don’t Judge Me – The Long Tease, London International Awards (Branded Audio and Podcasts)

“The CRA campaign is generating record web traffic for the client,” said Eardrum’s founding creative director Ralph van Dijk (main photo).

“So it’s doubly satisfying to also get recognition from such a prestigious award show.

Joan Warner, CEO, Commercial Radio Australia added, “The latest Radio Alive campaign has gone down extremely well with all our stakeholders and it’s fitting that an initiative on behalf of the industry is recognised in the innovation category. We’re showing faith in our medium and demonstrating the effectiveness of cut through creative.”

The two other shortlisted entries reflect Eardrum’s success in long-form content, having produced seven podcast series in the last 12 months.

“The growth in audio consumption means Eardrum’s unique skillset is in demand,” Van Dijk added.

“There are so many ways brands can reach their audience through their ears. In any given week we’re creating everything from 3 second sonic logos, 45-minute branded podcasts and everything in-between.”

The AWARD Award winners will be announced on Friday 27th March.
