Global web hosting provider, GoDaddy has collaborated with Val Morgan’s digital publication, TheLatch— to create a bespoke editorial content series, Open For Business to support small Australian businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.
Currently live on thelatch.com.au and amplified across TheLatch—’s owned social channels, the initiative places a spotlight on small businesses and entrepreneurs from a range of categories, including Crockd, Young Henrys, and Peaches Pilates.
The editorial features are designed to educate readers on businesses and their offerings (with many adapting operations to survive in the current climate) and let them know how they can show support.
“We’re so proud to bring this editorial initiative to life in partnership with global brand, GoDaddy. There has never been a more important time to get behind local communities and small businesses,” Amanda Bardas, Executive Editor of TheLatch, said.
The initiative is an acknowledgement of the vital role of small businesses in Australian society and is a testament to TheLatch—’s broader editorial commitment to spread messages of hope and positivity amidst a slate of evolving COVID-19 news stories.
“Our goal is to encourage our readers to channel their collective energies into supporting those that are open for business, even while their doors are closed.
“Beyond signaling support, the partnership provides readers with expert advice from GoDaddy, who is a trusted growth partner for millions of everyday entrepreneurs,” Bardas said.
Over the coming weeks, Open For Business will profile over fifty Australian businesses across a range of industries.
