The Works Appoints Ex-MercerBell CEO Julie Dormand To Managing Partner Role

The Works has added a new addition to the agency’s senior leadership team with the appointment of Julie Dormand, who will be joining on a contract basis as managing partner (maternity cover).

Dormand will lead agency operations, people and key clients, as well as drive the 2022 business plan initiatives with general manager – people & operations, Jasmine Lansdell and managing partner, Kristie Thistelthwaite set to go on maternity leave in December. Creative project leader Jen Hird has also been promoted to head of project management to provide additional support.

Dormand joins the leadership team reporting into founder / creative partner Damian Pincus and will work alongside partner Douglas Nicol, creative partner Iggy Rodriguez and managing partner Ruth Haffenden, who returns from maternity leave.

Dormand spent the best part of two decades with MercerBell across myriad positions including the role of CEO from January 2019 to February 2021.
