It’s Father’s Day in the US on the 20th of June (fear not, it’s not until the 5th of September in Australia) and to honour dad’s special day Aviation Gin – and the brand’s owner and ambassador, Ryan Reynolds – has unveiled a new piece of work that arguably will have most people reconsidering parenthood.
The latest spot continues the gin brand’s humorous vein and sees Reynolds mixing-up a cocktail he’s delightfully called ‘The Vasectomy’!
As you can guess, the spot is one long dig at fatherhood and the perils of having kids.
It does veer into slightly murky territory by eluding that the stresses of parenting can lead to heavy drinking. So, not sure Reynolds would get this one past Aussie regulators.
Regardless, it’s more terrific fun from the Deadpool actor and arguably funnier still if you have kids of your own.
For the record, the 44-year-old has three children to his actor wife Blake Lively including James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, 1.
