Tuesday TV Wrap: The Block Snuffs Out The Masked Singer’s Flame

The Block brought down the hammer, beating out Channel Ten’s surprise Hit The Masked Singer for top spot.

Seven’s The Block  was able to pull a respectable 897,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

The Masked Singer – Reveal trailed right behind with 877,000 last night.

The ABC’s most watched show of the evening was Foreign Correspondence which did 511,000.

Nine won the night with 28.8 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Seven did 27.2 per cent, 10 had 18.6 per cent, the ABC did 16.5 per cent and SBS did 9 per cent.

In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven (966,000) got bragging rights over Nine (799,000). ACA did 669,000.

Other highlights for Seven included Home And Away (633,000), The Chase (564,000), Bride & Prejudice  (420,000) and Secret Bridesmaids Business (361,000).

10’s other highlights included The Masked Singer (non-reveal) (713,000) and The Project (464,000).

Over at Nine, Hot Seat (435,000) and Love Island Australia (357,00) kept the people entertained.

The ABC’s other winner included its 7pm news (671,000), 7.30 (533,000) and Catalyst (395,000).
