Ten Asks Aussies To Vote On Casey Donovan As Next Bachelorette

It’s Bachie fever at Network Ten, with Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins’ debut on The Bachelor pulling in record ratings, and the network now asking Aussies to vote on the next Bachelorette.

In a tweet posted by Network Ten’s news site Ten Daily, winner of Australian Idol and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Casey Donovan was spruiked as a possible candidate for the next Bachelorette series.

Donovan has recently taken the plunge into acting, with a lead role in Ten’s Street Smart.

Ten Daily asked Aussies to vote on whether Donovan should be cast as the next Bachie, after Ali Oetjen’s upcoming season.

B&T proudly voted YES, as did 63 per cent of voters at the time of writing.

The vote followed an interview with Donovan on Ten Daily.

When asked what show she’d like to appear on next, Donovan responded with: “The Bachelorette?”

Adding: “I don’t know, let’s just start some more rumours, shall we?”

“I’m just going to carry roses around in daily life and just give them to people that I think are attractive or nice.

“I’m going to start my own Bachelorette“.

It all began earlier this month, Donovan appeared on The Sunday Project and was questioned whether she’d give The Bachelorette a go, to which she replied: “It’d be fun. I’m still very single”.

Hearing the rumours, host of The Bachelorette Osher Günsberg later told Ten Daily: “I think Casey Donovan would be an extraordinary Bachelorette.

“She would have a lot of fun, we would have a lot of fun together.”
