Fourteen amazing Queenslanders will be shaking up the status quo, inspiring new ways of thinking, and sharing their perspective on the world on 3 December at TEDxBrisbane.
With events delayed for two years by COVID-19, this year’s TEDxBrisbane will see world-leading athletes and a former Olympic champion, mental health advocates, a cheesemaker, a tradie and doctors coming together to engineer impact.
Announcing a partnership between TEDxBrisbane and Supercurious Brisbane, managing partner, Mark Gregory said: “The power of a question asked or idea shared at the right time can shift history, it can change the world.”
“TEDxBrisbane is one of Australia’s leading sources of great ideas and difficult questions, and that’s why our brand new creative agency, Supercurious, has thrown our support behind this year’s event.”
TEDx events are the leading global platform for celebrating locally-driven ideas, challenging how people think and feel about the world through curiosity, creativity, courage and connectedness.
“We are excited to play our part of making sure these ideas grow into something more,” added Gregory.
Juanita Wheeler, Executive Director TEDxBrisbane, added: “After a three-year hiatus, this year’s event is our biggest yet, and we wanted to ensure that we had the best strategic marketers and creatives possible as we move through this exciting phase of growth.
“We can’t wait to welcome the likes of Libby Trickett, Lisa Cox, George Blair-West and Daniel Allen to this stage in December.”
“The team at Supercurious have been wonderful to work with, and their strategic insights in their fields of expertise are helping us to realise our vision, and amplify the ideas of the speakers who will take the stage. Their enthusiasm and positivity for the mission are a constant reminder that they are an ideal partner for TEDxBrisbane.”
TEDxBrisbane 2022 will be held at ERPAC (Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre), on Saturday 3rd of December, 2022.
