SiteMinder Announces String Of Industry Heavyweight Hires

SiteMinder, a global leader in channel management and hotel booking software, has bolstered its executive team with new hires.

Jonathan Bedford (featured image) is joining SiteMinder as chief sales officer in June, after spending the last three years driving commercial operations as vice president of Open Text.

Bedford will be based in London, in recognition of SiteMinder’s global footprint and growth ambitions.

Mark Renshaw has joined as chief marketing officer, bringing more than 20 years’ experience across B2C and B2B brands.

Renshaw was most recently at Edelman, based in Chicago as its global chair of brand practice, and, prior to that, held an array of roles at Leo Burnett over 12 years, including chief digital and innovation officer.

SiteMinder CEO, Sankar Narayan said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Jonathan Bedford and Mark Renshaw to the SiteMinder executive team.

“We have a great global footprint and are evolving to becoming a truly global business.

“Having a team of world-class talent on board is crucial to our continued success as we enter this new phase of accelerated global growth and innovation.”

Narayan added: “I look forward to sharing the excitement around SiteMinder’s next chapter with our leadership team.”

Narayan joined SiteMinder with 20 years’ experience in January 2019, following three years as COO of cloud accounting software giant Xero, where he oversaw a growth in enterprise value from AU$2 billion to over AU$6 billion.

Prior to Narayan, SiteMinder hired Jonathan Kenny, who has brought a decade of experience to SiteMinder as CFO through his tenures at the likes of education company 3P Learning and CoreLogic Australia in the same role, and chief product officer Inga Latham, who joined the company after more than four years of overseeing Commonwealth Bank’s digital platforms and experience.

Prior to that, Inga headed up B2C and B2B product management and in-house creative teams at Ticketmaster.
