Aussie Retail Platform Brauz Unveils New Shopping App

Australian retail platform Brauz has re-imagined the omni-channel shopping experience with the launch of its new shopping app.

The new app is designed to empower local brick-and-mortar retailers to establish a stronger digital presence with their customers by enabling shoppers browsing on their mobiles to receive personalised messages and customised offers based on their preferences, location and history.

Brauz chose to partner with Melbourne-based mobile app developer Buzinga to create and deploy the platform, with a brief to ensure it was engaging for shoppers to use.

Lee Hardham, CEO at Brauz (pictured above), said: “The future of retail is changing fast and we want to make sure local retailers are moving with it.

“We see the future of shopping as a blend of physical, digital, experience and convenience. We’re here to help guide retailers through the process, while providing shoppers a more personalised shopping experience.

“Finding the right local partner to bring this app to life was mission-critical for our business, and we’re delighted with all the work Buzinga has done for us.”

Daniel Woodhouse, director of technology and delivery at Buzinga, said: “The platform we helped Brauz develop provides cutting-edge digital tools for bricks-and-mortar retailers to engage with shoppers.

“The app means that retailers will be able to offer high levels of interaction and personalised shopping experience in an omnichannel environment, without developing their own digital offerings.”

Buzinga has also worked with Brauz to grow its internal team, providing consulting services on design and development.
