A Block-led Nine won Sunday night’s battle for viewer eyeballs, as Ten continues to flounder, again having to settle for a distant fourth behind the ABC.

With no Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures, Ten’s best last night was its 5pm news bulletin with just 385,000. Adding to its woes, The Sunday Project just can’t find a Sunday night audience, it mustered a mere 312,000 last night. Ten’s only other show of note was the movie Now You See Me 2 with 282,000.

Last night the bouquets went Nine’s way, it pulled 34.5 per cent of the audience share. Seven was second with 31.1 per cent, the ABC had 16.1 per cent, Ten had 12.8 per cent and SBS struggled to a mere 5.4 per cent.

Nine’s The Block was again impressive and the most watched show of the night with 1.341 million viewers.

In further good news for Nine, its 6pm news bulletin beat rival Seven’s 1.061 million to 1.042 million, respectively.

Nine’s 60 Minutes (738,000) also had bragging rights over Seven’s Sunday Night (611,000).

Seven’s other highlights included Little Big Shots with 827,000 and Murder Uncovered with 370,000.

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (718,000), Rake (505,000), Joanna Lumley’s India (463,000) and Vera (266,000).

Best for SBS was Treasures Decoded with just 163,000.
