Nine’s The Block was the most-watched show of Sunday, seeing off the typically unbeatable 6pm news on Seven.

That said, no show managed to go over the magic million-mark last night according to OzTAM metro numbers.

The Block pulled 975,000 and handed Nine an easy Sunday win with 33.2 per cent audience share (all channels). Seven had 27.4 per cent, 10 did 19.3 per cent, the ABC pulled 14.1 per cent and SBS had a neat six.

60 Minutes had a big night for Nine, posting 677,000. Seven’s Sunday Night was left with just 406,000.

Other standouts for Nine included Parky! (407,000) and its coverage of the Dragons-Tigers NRL game (245,000).

Over at Seven, Australia’s Got Talent had 696,000 and What The Killer Did Next pulled 251,000.

Survivor (751,000) was 10’s best, followed by The Sunday Project (434,000), and 10 News First (268,000).

The ABC’s night ran this way: 7pm news (599,000), Judi Dench’s Wild Borneo Adventure (404,000) and Les Norton (337,000).

SBS’ best was a repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? which pulled a lacklustre 139,000.
