Sunday TV Wrap: 6pm News Bulletins Tie For Equal Billing

It was a battle of the 6pm news bulletins for title of most-watched show of Sunday, with both Nine and Seven’s offerings tying with 890,000 viewers each.

However, a strong showing by 60 Minutes (777,000) handed Nine the night’s honours,

Nine took home 31.9 per cent, followed by Seven with 29.1 per cent, the ABC was third and 16.4 per cent, 10 had 14.1 per cent and SBS pulled 8.5 per cent.

Nine’s other highlights included David Attenborough’s Blue Planet with 527,000 and Nine News: First At Five with 247,000.

Over at Seven, it also did well with the movie Love Actually (435,000), Sunday Night – Summer (404,000), Seven News At 5 (304,000) and Weekend Sunrise (245,000).

10’s best was The Graham Norton Show (366,000), followed by The Sunday Project (357,000), NCIS (248,000) and 10 News First (243,000).

Over at the ABC, its best was its 7pm news with 616,000, Grand Designs with 402,000, Sherlock with 367,000 and Insiders with 282,000.
