Suncorp Bank has launched its first-ever campaign on Pinterest as part of its sponsorship of The Block on Nine.

The bank has created the ‘Quiz to Board Pin’ extension as a way to help renovators get design inspiration on the site.

With Australian customers increasingly turning to Pinterest for their DIY projects, Suncorp’s quiz aims to steer these potential customers in the right direction.

Participants will be asked five questions in the Pin Extension and based on their answers, they’ll be directed to one of the personally curated boards.

“People across Australia are planning how they can make their house more home, and for many, jumping online to Pinterest is a great source of inspiration,” said Suncorp executive general manager brand and marketing Mim Haysom.

“Through this Pinterest campaign, Suncorp is capturing the attention of key audiences by providing insights and advice on how they can bring their home dreams to life with Suncorp home lending and budgeting tools.”

Pinterest data shows that at home projects have been in-demand during the pandemic.

Searches for “living room storage” and “garden tool storage” are both up 140 per cent.

Meanwhile, searches for “gaming room setup” is up 3.5X and searches for “modern tv wall units” is up 5X.
